Angie Gutierrez, a junior at Del Oro High in California, placed second in the Division 3 girls varsity yellow race at the 74th Mt. SAC Cross Country Invitational Presented by Nike in Walnut, Calif. Gutierrez covered the 2.93-mile course in 19:14 to help Del Oro secure sixth overall with 172 points.
